Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - Omega Eta Zeta is hosting their 3rd Annual "Blue Notes" Scholarship Jazz Brunch. This has been one of their signature programs and has become very successful every year. The event is filled with live jazz music. other entertainment, raffles, and, of course, an exquiste all-you-can eat brunch from Raffaels. OKTOBERFEST
Come and enjoy this Bavarian festival and experience German culture through authentic German food and drink in an atmosphere of Gemtlichkeit -- A place of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer. BSVs Oktoberfest is the largest German-American festival in New England with a family-friendly atmosphere. We are extremely happy to announce that Die Lustigen Almdudler will once again be providing the musical entertainment at Oktoberfest. Die Lustigen Almdudler have rocked our pavilion at previous Oktoberfests and keep the party going! Eins, zwie, drei - g'suffa! There are activities for children too, from pony rides and tug of war, to face painting and games. Children under 12 are free. Knights from the East Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) will show of their fighting skills for your entertainment on Saturday around 4:00 PM. NEW THIS YEAR! Join the Bierstein hoisting competition on Saturday presented by Warsteiner and win great prizes and eternal bragging rights. Sign up for the competition at the Warsteiner Draft Trailer, $3 to enter the competition. Warsteiner Boot for each competitor and trophy mugs for the top 3 finishers!

Cost: $10.00 per person. Children under 12 are Free. Parking - Ample free parking is available! We suggest to either arrive prior to 2pm, especially when the weather is good, before the parking lots fill up. After 5pm the parking lots start to clear up again as the day crowd slowly leaves and the evening crowd arrives. Weather - Oktoberfest will be held rain or shine. Our pavilion offers 500 seats and a dance floor protected from rain or scorching sun. All food tents will be open regardless of weather. The bar is adjunct to the Pavilion and provides cover as well. Cash, Credit Cards & ATMs - Cash Only - Admission to Oktoberfest, the food tents, the main bar, and beer trucks are all Cash Only. Credit & Debit card sales are not accepted. Two (2) ATMs are on the festival grounds. Some of the vendors may accept credit and debit cards. (Sat, 12 Sep 2015 12 )
